What is article 370? Article 370 was actually a special provision made to give some special power to the state constitution assembly of Jammu and Kashmir. This power stops other articles of constitution to be in force with positive node of state's constitution assembly. At that time these provisions were made temporarily till the formulation and adoption of state's constitution. But on 25 January 1957 the state constitution assembly dissolved itself without giving any recommendation about the article 370. As the other parts of Indian Constitution can be extended only with the concurrence of State Government.
